Instrument panel, throttle quadrant & breaker box FINISHED!

The pictures speak for themselves. There is much more detail that could be done, but I'm running out of time!

It's been a great experience making these components and thinking about the guys that made the originals and what that must have been like. Amazing that for such an advanced aircraft, how crude some of the work was. Hard not to see it through 21st century eyes I suppose.

  3. The bezels are laser cut from 1/8 & 1/16 ply. Each is two pieces, the 1/8 ply back piece and then a 1/16 ply 'ring'. One coat of epoxy finishing resin, a little light sanding, then primer and matte black spray paint. That's it! They came out better than I expected.
